Day 1: Puerto Maldonado –Rainforest Expeditions to Sandoval Lake:
Pick up from the airport/Bus Terminals, transfer to register and leave some luggage and take what is necessary for the tour, transfer to the port to board the outboard boat to continue the trip through the Alto Madre de Dios River, where you will observe some Species on the riverbank such as turtles sunbathing on fallen trunks, migratory fishing birds, with the luck of seeing the largest rodent in the world, the capybara, etc. in mowing at the SANDOVAL LAGO checkpoint to register a place to start the 5 km walk inside the deep jungle rainforest expeditions amazon wildlife , then we will arrive at a small port where we will board the canoe paddling through a snake-shaped channel from there we will cross the lake in 50 minutes to the next where the LAGO SANDOVAL LODGE is located, accommodation in their respective rooms and lunch. In the afternoon we will explore Lake Sandoval in our canoe to observe and enjoy wildlife such as the giant otter family known as the (river wolf), black alligators, shanshos (prehistoric birds), turtles and many birds, etc. , return to the lodge to enjoy dinner, Night activity Visit Lake Sandoval in the rowing canoe , now carrying the flashlight to see the black alligators, night birds, monkeys on the river banks and other species in this amazon rainforest expeditions. After this activity we will return to the lodge to rest in their respective rooms.
Day 2: – Sandoval Lake to Puerto Maldonado:
Today will be a beautiful day where we will wake up with the song of the birds to have a delicious drink. We will take our rowing canoe where we will visit a large number of different species of palm trees that grow in the water creating a swampy area. This place is called Guacamayo Palmera (Collpa de Palmeras) where it attracts several species of macaws and other parrots to eat fruits of its palms (wuallo) that help them in their digestion, high in vitamins, sodium, calcium, potassium and others. minerals that are components that help them digest and have good digestion. Then we will explore the Amazon, the primary forest amazon wildlife, the undergrowth of this virgin forest to see the imposing walnut trees (the chestnut) as harvested by the people who live in the same deep forest, open to the market this important natural product, healing plants (ayahusca, chacruna , cañacaña, ajo sacha, huayo sugar, chuchuhuasi, copaiba etc. where we will observe some species of monkeys such as the brown capuchin monkey, squirrel monkey, howler monkey, friar monkey and the little lion monkey, tarantulas, insects, frogs, toads and some mammals such as armadillo, añuje, sloth, return to our lodge to enjoy lunch.
We will then prepare to return and board a rowing canoe to navigate over Lake Sandoval, followed by a hike to the checkpoint and from there we will navigate the Madre de Dios River in an outboard boat to Puerto Maldonado. There we will collect our luggage at our office and then we will go to the airport or the bus terminal.

What You Need to Bring Rainforest expeditions.
- Mosquito repellent (DEET 35 recommended as a MINIMUM!!),
- Original passport,
- Small backpack,
- Long sleeved cotton shirts (preferably green coloured),
- Long cotton trousers,
- Cotton long socks (to be put into your trousers),
- Comfortable walking shoes,
- Sandals or light shoes,
- Rain gear (e.g. rain poncho),
- Sweater (for the beginning of the tour in Andes and the cloud forest only),
- Binoculars (we also rent it),
- Camera and its charger,
- Plastic bags to be used for clothes and a camera,
- A hat as a protection against the Sun or rain,
