Amazon Trail 4 days
Days 1:
Puerto Maldonado to Tambopata Lodge Inn -Research Center.
We’ll pick you up from the bus terminal or the airport, then head to our main office for check-in, where you can drop off a few things and take your necessities with you in tours amazon trail . We will take our private transport for 2
hours to the port. Tambopata where the boat and motorist will be waiting for us to continue our journey along the Tambopata River observing different species such as birds, turtles, capybaras, white alligators, etc. with the
possibility of seeing the king of the jungle (Jaguar) sunbathing or rested on the beaches, then we will arrive at our Lodge «TAMBOPATA LODGE INN» where we will receive a typical refreshment and aphrodisiac of the Amazon,
accommodation in your respective room and lunch. In the afternoon we will take a walk in the primary forest full of
trees millennials a lot of diversity of species such as insects, ants, spiders, toads, butterflies, birds, monkeys and some large mammals ect.
After dinner we will have a night boat activity to observe some species such as alligators, capybaras, night monkeys
and perhaps some felines that naturally hunt at night. After this activity, return to the lodge to rest in your respective room.
Days 2:
Tambopata Research Center – Macaw Clay Lick Chuncho exploring in Amazon Trail .
Today we will get up early at 5:00 am, where we will take our boat to travel up the Tambopata river for 1 hour and 20
minutes enjoying a wonderful sunrise with the opportunity to see the king of the jungle (Jaguar) or anaconda on the banks. of the Tambopata River of the Tambopata National Reserve. We will immediately arrive where we will be
located a few meters from Clay Lick, which allows us to have the best possible position for the wonderful show where hundreds of parrots, parakeets of different colored species such as red, green, blue macaws come noisily and flutter
down on the clay walls to eat which is their daily diet of mineral salts giving an exhibition and explosion of life and
color as it will explode before our eyes it will be a beautiful experience a beautiful unforgettable spectacle that nature offers us, there we will enjoy our breakfasts while we watch the show ( so yes, sit back and relax).
After this activity, we will take the boat down the river with return to the lodge, we will make a stop at the control point to learn more about the
CHUNCHO CLAY LICK Amazon trail
and then we will visit a MUSEUM where we will explain everything about the TAMBOPATA CANDAMO about the
different species that it inhabits. this natural area. At the end of this activity we will board the boat on our way to the lodge to have lunch and rest. In the afternoon we will take a walk to explore the wild flora and fauna of the
Tambopata reserve. Our guide will explain to us about the diversity of species that inhabits this natural area. Return
to the lodge to enjoy a delicious dinner. At night we will have a night walk listening to the songs and sounds like
insects, spiders, tarantulas, frogs, snakes, night monkeys, butterflies, beetles, some nocturnal animals. After this
activity return to the lodge to rest in their respective private rooms with mosquito nets, shower and bathroom .
Days 3:
Tambopata Adventure -Fishing Kayak and Hikking in the Amazon Trail .
Today we will get up early to enjoy a delicious and then we will take the boat approximately 40 minutes downstream
where we will do a morning fishing along the Tambopata River, as we will have the opportunity of what we can fish such as Pacus, Sabalos, Cat Fish and Piranhas are also a possibility if you choose to fish in one of the streams. Return
to the lodge.
After our lunch a break, in the afternoon, we will go kayaking in the Tambopata River or a small stream, this is a very
beautiful experience paddling alone and people enjoy it a lot.
After dinner, night activity to observe different species that only at night go out to hunt their prey where our guide will explain each one.
Days 4:
Tambopata Lodge Inn to Puerto Maldonado
Today we will enjoy a delicious breakfast then we will visit the mammal clay lick, where we will have more
opportunity to observe howler monkeys, deer, wild boar, birds and some other large mammal that come to this place every morning to eat or lick the clay it contains. mineral salts in this way they are detoxified. Where the guide at the
same time will explain why they eat this mud and you will learn about the wild flora and fauna, return to the lodge.
Immediately we will pack our backpacks and then we will go to the port to board the boat outside and navigate down the Tambopata river and then the car 2 hours back to Puerto Maldonado transfer to the bus station / airport.
